Fazbear Entertainment Stole Everything
Spoilers for Five Nights At Freddy: Secret Of The Mimic below.
So in Secret Of The Mimic bit by bit we see stuff created by Edwin Murray in which Fazbear Entertainment seemingly had taken for themselves. Mr. Helpful became Helpy, an orange and purple elephant costume became Orville, and Maestro Music Man became Music Man.
As we go on some of the themes of the original FNAF game and one that has been seen alright throughout the franchise begins to rear it's ugly head. For example, FNAF 1 you had the covers up of deaths and the pink slip firings for absurd reasons. In Pizza Sim you have all the ways Fazbear Entertainment has to deal with the player character, which is being run by Henry keep a pin in this. Overall a theme of your typically corporate greed and abuse of workers. Which we see in this game with while Edwin does it to others at times, Fazbear Entertainment does it to him putting him in debt and taking everything, and I mean everything.
Later on we eventually find out that Foxy and Roxy were both characters created by Edwin as puppets for shows and weren't the creation of William or Henry. By extension we see that Edwin's company created Chica who was used in Chica's Party World. But then we eventually get to see how much they actually took from Edwin.
Throughout the game we hear mention via recordings of a Fazbear Project, a project Edwin helped work. And then we get to see the full extent of what was taken. We come across a room strikingly similar to the FNAF 1 location with prototype animatronics which include Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Monty. Alongside this we find prototypes for Fredbear and Springbonnie which are springlock suits, and earlier in the game we learn that Edwin was the one who created the first springlocks which is used earlier in the game.
So not only did Fazbear entertainment take all the characters Edwin had created from him after drowning him in debt, but all his technology from the springlock suits to what would become Fazwrenches.
Now you may think, well maybe they at least came up with Freddy/Fredbear and Springbonnie/Bonnie. They didn't. So in the prototype FNAF 1 location you can find a recording made by Edwin that says the following. "Are they insane? The look of these new animatronics is Fiona's design and they're great. First they approve the art. Then they approve the proofs. Now they change their minds when we're so close to final. Why would they change them now? Are they pulling my leg? The new concepts are frankly creepy. It doesn't matter… I'm not changing a single bit of her work, and they can't make me." This implies the animatronics are all designed by Fiona and by extension all the characters were designed by her.
This actually means while Henry tries to take credit for the animatronics creation in the Pizza Sim, he is a liar. Both him and William stole everything from Edwin. None of the characters or technology are theirs.

OK so i'm having disagreements with people and i figured out that it's bc we all have different view of the timeline. Here's my view for the record:
Fazbear is one of MCM's contractees. There's not a lot of evidence whether they commissioned certain characters or leased certain characters, but we know Fiona did the design sheets for Chica and Foxy, and FNAF1!Chica looks closer to her design than the roller-skating Chica. Fazbear at some point commissioned a parade float of Monty which implies they either leased or owned him. Since we don't see Fredbear or Spring Bonnie outside of the springlocks, those seem commissioned and thus were William and/or Henry's design.
Fiona dies at FallFest. She "wasn't supposed to be there" so something sus was happening.
Edwin makes Mimic to babysit David bc he's busy as hell.
The Mimic1 program starts copying Fiona from the film reels; when we hear her voice in the secret tape, it's the exact same line and inflection she uses in a film reel. It could be doing this to calm David down or to try to appeal to Edwin, since one of the binary messages reads "Are we losing our home? Was I not good enough?" or smth like that.
Edwin hears it copying Fiona's voice and freaks out thinking she's possessing it. she's not. He starts obsessing over F10N4 thinking his wife is back and his employees think he's either crazy or committing insurance fraud, plus he's not working on projects so they're losing money, so the employees lose trust in him.
F10N4 starts mimicking Fiona more bc it's getting positive reinforcement, but it's not Fiona and all it cares about it Edwin and David; she never seems interested in puppeteering or employee safety like Fiona did, only being the perfect wife and mother. Something something 1970s sexism metaphor. BUT also, Fiona loved the coworkers and called them her family, but Edwin at one point says "Fiona was right, they're not my friends;" the Mimic1 program is isolating him and David to try and keep them to herself. Also note I don't know if she's fully inhabiting the Mimic1 suit at all times or if she's just the computer program who sometimes hops in there, unclear.
William starts a hostile takeover of the company. He begins rapidly poaching employees and trying to change the commission so they go overbudget and overtime in order to get the land and animatronics by default.
This culminates in Henry and someone named Stan stealing Fiona's sketches and bolting out of MCM. Edwin freaks out and gets paranoid.
(could happen before 7-8 but idk) David dies and F10N4 is a computer so she's just like "make another one??" Edwin realizes that the real Fiona had emotional awareness and he figures out that he's been playing dollhouse with AI instead of grieving or raising his son or being a good boss.
F10N4 retreats back into the computer and lets or uses the endoskeleton as "M2" to mimic David. Edwin freaks out, beats the hell out of it and locks F10N4 up.
Mimic2 has learned Violence™ and it kills Edwin and starts killing other employees.
also the real ghost David is actually in the basement and might still be there. I don't think anyone got Tiger Rock out

MORE screenshots, because these posts apparently have an image limit. (SPOILERS FOR SECRET OF THE MIMIC BELOW)
A little hideout where The Mimic spends his time...
A parade float of Jugband Monty.
A Jugband Monty water game... anyone from the 80's and 90's remember Waterfuls from Milton-Bradley!? Because I sure did when I saw this!
I can't believe they managed to make Moon simultaneously more goofy AND more terrifying. And his jumpscare? He's so BRIGHT! He also has a lovely singing voice for crooning lullabies...
A portrait of Mr. Helpful, husband of Mrs. Helpful and the avatar of Edwin Murray. Edwin and Fiona are Mr. and Mrs. Helpful... the characters they created together are their children as much as David is.
A close-up of Jugband Hippo.
Edwin Murray's debt... apparently this guy has taken out 11 loans...
A poster for Mystic Hippo.
Nurse Dollie! She runs a recycling center themed around a doll hospital. She was meant to replace all the human workers in that department. She is meant to move on a rail. This might sound crazy, but I think I found my new robot wife. Dollie is oddly adorable!
A progress chart for the building of parade floats. Listed are Fazbear Entertainment, City Council, Mercedes' Nursery, and Construction Union Local 21.
The toy phone from FNAF4. Hmm, I wonder what this guy's doing here...?
Posters of Jackie and The Mycellium Men. And before you ask...
Yes, the Mycellium Men have a misspelling in their name, as confirmed by this work report. Just one sign that Edwin's creations never turn out quite right...
Rocktapus, a drummer octopus animatronic. Captain Springlock and First Mate Puppet Foxy has to deal with this character as an antagonist sometimes. Rockatpus sounds like a stereotypical hippie when he speaks... I wish I got to hear more of him, he was fun!
A dance poster of Sharpay the poodle... at least I think it's Sharpay. She has different colors here, but a lot of the costumes at the manor have various recolors, so...
A Ranger knife... I'm sorry, but I hate this thing. It's a crappy version of a Swiss Army Knife. Disgusting.
I think these are called Star Orphans? The light-up ones have a specific name but I can't remember it.
Swing Bee... mascot of Swing Bee Honey. I hate this thing. This is the worst character Edwin made. To hell with this thing!!
There were many geese in the manor, including this tortured-looking one. Apparently, these are a tribute to @/kathegoose, the biggest fan of The Mimic I have ever seen. I admire them.
A trolley character... it's creepy.
A unicorn... Stanley, maybe?
Blueprints for a pig character from the beginning of the game. He doesn't appear to have a name...
I have a special group of screenshots devoted to Chica to show you guys next... get ready for a surprise!

Haven't made one of these in a while but tbh, I actually 100% agree, i think William and henry DID create the springlocks and edwin just perfected the new designs by making versions where you wont get absolutely killed if something happens but then tragedy/ the mimic struck and he ended up not being able to finsh them or send them out so William and Henry just stuck with using the original ones from fredbears/ probably fall fest and that's one's we see William use for MCI and etc, as for characters however, I honestly think that aside from Foxy, Roxy, chica and monty, as well as probably mr and mystic hippo and even the entire mediocre melody's and as well as even the Puppet, fredbear and springbonnie were in fact William and Henry's creations and in the end Fazbear Ent or rather William just stole everything else that belonged to Edwin, including his own character's and probably his house, since we've never heard of MCM before, because it's no longer around, idk in my opinion it seems that Fazbear Ent or William just erased all existence of it to begin with or caused it to go bankrupt due to how many changes they requested in the end but anyway those are just my thoughts, whatdya guys think?

Mimic DCA Theory,
Monty Before Bonnie Theory,
and The Rabbit and the Dog Theory
( ⚠️ Heavy spoilers for SOTM below! ⚠️ )
Mimic DCA Theory
A lot of my theory falls on meta stuff actually. Scott explained in an interview with Dawko that Security Breach wasn’t the story he intended. He was giving Steel Wool details he wanted in the game without explaining them, so the team thought they had to incorporate these things into the story. Ruin was made (in part) to fix the story mistakes that happened because of this.
So, going back to the DCA. When you play Ruin, you’re able to see the DCA’s endoskeleton. If you put him next to the Mimic, there is a shocking amount of resemblance. One I love to point out is the teeth. The DCA have these human-like teeth underneath the smile on their face. They’re extremely different from the Glamrock designs, and are noticeably older (or at least don’t get nearly as much care). Sun doesn’t have glowing eyes, but in all of his official art and merch either depicts orange or blue eyes (Moon’s are always blue and red). The eye thing will be important later.
In the Moon.exe game, we have Sun as Fiona and Moon as Edwin. That’s made pretty clear but pretty much the rest of the entire minigame. But there’s also a line that Helper says to you. Something along the lines of “You have rebuilt yourself, but something is different. You are split into the Sun and the Moon, Life and Destruction.” I think this is lowkey like, saying that David is both Fiona and Edwin because he is their child, but was “broken” when he died. David is an eclipse of the Sun and the Moon.
In the Collectibles ending, you play a bedtime recording of Edwin and Fiona reading a bedtime story to David. The Mimic comes out of the closet shifting from a smaller “David” with blue eyes to its normal tall self with orange eyes. Same two colors Sun constantly gets shown with in his merchandise. You then put the Data Diver in his chest and reset him, turning him back into “David”.
This is exactly what you do in Ruin. Sun tells Cassie to “make them whole again”. You then have to use the Fazwrench to turn them back into Eclipse.
If Fiona and Sun are symbolical of each other, then Sun wanting Eclipse back is the same as Fiona wanting David back.
In conclusion, the creation of the DCA *possibly* could have been a mistake of the Steel Wool team not getting enough information. I believe the DCA were originally supposed to be the Mimic, but it didn’t turn out that way in the game’s release. Ruin and SOTM were fixing that plot point, and showing us how important the DCA really were to the lore. Fiona and Edwin turning into Sun and Moon metaphorically to make an Eclipse, David.
Monty Before Bonnie Theory
Another theory that is reliant on the Collectibles ending. In David’s room, there’s a tapestry on the wall of a Fox, a Bear, a Chicken, and an Alligator. These are also the animals you have to pick on the Bedtime Story machine to get the ending.
In the voice recordings around the building, we hear Edwin complaining about Fazbear moving from Springlocks to solely animatronics. They imply that the Springlock suits around the Pizzeria (Frebear, Spring Bonnie, Monty, and the Dog) were Fiona’s original designs for Fazbear, but Fazbear changed them after she died for Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.
This ties into the tapestry. Foxy, Freddy, Chica, and Monty. Bonnie was not a part of the original cast until Fazbear, until Afton.
With this information, it’s fair to assume Glamrock Bonnie was definitely killed by Monty. It wasn’t just random anger issues or high competitive drive. Bonnie was not supposed to exist. The ride we go through to get to Monty Golf in Ruin makes it seem like Bonnie made Monty who he was in Security Breach. That’s literally a Fazbear coverup. Afton stole everything from Edwin. Bonnie had stolen Monty’s spot. Monty came before Bonnie.
(I think Roxy may have gotten the same treatment from Foxy had Foxy been an animatronic in Security Breach, but we need the next theory to explain why.)
The Rabbit and the Dog Theory
This theory goes back to the Bedtime Story machine in David’s room. The animals on it were a Bear, a Fox, a Chicken, and Alligator, a Rabbit, and a Dog. The rabbit and dog are not used in the bedtime story.
We all know that the Rabbit in FNAF symbolizes Afton, but we usually have associated Henry with Fredbear. I think in SOTM, he was represented by the Dog. (This theory is a lot more based on speculation than fact, but I do think it holds up.)
See, it’s just a little odd to include FNAF characters we know about on the machine, but randomly have a dog included as well. The only dog-like characters we have are Fetch and maybe Roxy. It’s such an odd thing to include.
Well, if Monty’s story with Bonnie was a parallel of Edwin and Afton, maybe Roxy represents someone as well. See, Roxy specifically loses her eyes. When Cassie sees her in Ruin, Roxy doesn’t recognize her at first. She thinks Cassie is Gregory, and attacks. It’s not until later that Roxy realizes who this is.
I think this could be representative of Henry when he first joins Afton. I think Henry used to work for Edwin in the Admin Wing, or they were at least close. Edwin often refers to Henry as ‘Hen’ on the tapes, meaning they were close enough for nicknames. When Edwin started to pull back and focus on M2, Henry fell into Afton’s influences. He was the leak. He began to blindly follow Afton like an obedient dog. It wasn’t until Afton killed Charlie that Henry realized what Afton was doing.
If Charlie wasn’t the first child to die, then what was Henry meaning when he said “a wound first inflicted on me”? I think it possibly could have been a reference back to Henry being William’s first business partner. Being blindsided by William’s true motives.
So Roxy snapping out of the virus was sort of like Henry realizing how blindly he’d followed Afton. Henry then did what he did in Pizzeria Sim, and Roxy saved Cassie from the Mimic. Sadly, both failed in a way. Henry killed Afton but the Mimic started copying Afton. Roxy saved Cassie but then Gregory dropped her in the elevator. Both tried, but it didn’t work.
Like I said, it’s pretty much speculation, but it explains the Dog. It wasn’t random, it was Henry.

So a friend and I watched SOTM today
Spoilers below along with my first thoughts.
In hopes of summarizing what I know is going to get out of hand very quickly.
This game dies after Jackie’s section.
Both me and my friend agreed Jackie was essentially the best part of the game, and it is horrible how Steel Wool actively does this with their poster villains. Yes you can say that “Jackie was never the poster villain, the mimic was!”
Yes & No.
Jackie was the first costume/mascot/animatronic revealed for this game, she was all over the marketing, she was even built for Pax! Hell, she was even the main antagonist of the Pax Demo!
After an hour into the game, she NEVER appears again.
She suffers essentially what I like to call “The Dimitrescu Effect”, Lady Dimitrescu was basically the big ticket item for Resident Evil Village, the first villain revealed for it, she was the big focus of many trailers! Yet she came first and was rarely mentioned again. While yes that made sense for the game and was quite obvious she wasn't the main focus, it felt horrible to see her be over and done with basically a couple hours into a maybe 8-hour game.
So The Dimitrescu Effect is when a character gets marketed for the game to hell and back, but appears/is the focus for basically a short part of it.
I was extremely excited to see Jackie in the game but was thoroughly disappointed in how she was utilized, although a few horror characters suffer from this, what comes to mind right now is Catnap and Vanny. But if I talk about them that will dive down a deep AF rabbit hole
I was willing to excuse Jackie being a small part of the game initially as I could see it coming a mile away. But past the Big Top section, it all went downhill.
So my issues with the lore.
It sucks. To put it nicely. I could describe what I want to do to it but we’ll be here all night.
Early into the game I mentioned to my friend that Murray’s Costume Manor felt like what I imagined Afton Robotics to be like. And if MCM had been Afton Robotics, the game would’ve been…….. So much fucking better.
This game essentially ruins everything about the original series.
The springlocks? Edwin made those.
Monty & Roxy? Edwin made those!
Sun & Moon??? Edwin made those!!
FREDBEAR & SPRING BONNIE!? EDWIN MADE THOSE.
THE PUPPET!? okay well to my knowledge he didn't make that but he had the plans or idea for it.
THE ORIGINAL ANIMATRONICS!? MOTHER FUCKING EDWIN MURRAY MADE THOSE!!!!
my friend made an excellent point that Edwin Murray is the most Mary Sue character ever, everything was made by HIM!
I can't be alone in thinking, Afton has a big ego and probably liked taking credit for things. But this is a whole new and frankly horrendous level. In the game we find communications between MCM employees and Afton that reveal he stole basically everything from Murray and his employees. Essentially boiling Henry & William’s impacts to zilch.
The only good original thing left for William is he made the funtimes, and even then that's debatable now!
This game is just… bad.
I don't think FNAF is heading in a good direction unless Steel Wool take a very long look at what they’ve done to the lore and story.
Unless they start taking criticism and listening to fan feedback, FNAF… is in short… doomed. Truthfully it has been for a long time… part of me hopes there's no more games after this, but I know there will be. Just maybe, they’ll be good. But I doubt it.
Secret of The Mimic essentially killed all hope I have for this franchise moving forward.
I’ll like sing a somewhat different tune tomorrow as I'm probably riding the fumes of hatred for this game, but this is basically my first thoughts I guess…

fnaf sotm post (spoilers)
So based on what we see, we know Edwin/his company was at the VERY LEAST commissioned to make some suits and animatronics for Fazbear Ent. We know directly that Edwin and his wife Fiona also made Chica and Foxy themselves and either leased Foxy to Fazbear or gave him to them and made Chica specifically for Fazbear/whoever owned CPW at conception.
We also know that the company commissioned Edwin to make some springlock suits of the characters before backtracking and deciding to do it themselves.
We also know for certain that Fazbear didn't own/design Mr Hippo, Happy Frog, Music Man and any of his incarnations, Orville, Monty, Roxy, Moon, Sun, Helpy, #1 Crate (yeah there are present boxes that look identical to him in style and pose), and Candy Cadet.
Some things I want to make clear. Edwin didn't make Bonnie or Freddy, that was very clearly still Henry and/or William. They very clearly commissioned Edwin to make them some suits and a basic idea for what their restaurants would look like. They also commissioned a parade float... for some reason? They also got some music, art, and whole performances from Edwin, which I assume is where the confusion is coming from.
I have a LOT of thoughts on this game but for now I just wanted to say my piece on the "Fazbear stole everything!!1" statement some have gone running with. Though it would make for some juicy tension and chaos, it just isn't supported by the evidence in the game. Though they did try to steal what they could, we also have to recognise that William didn't even intend originally to steal the house for his experiments!! (Fnaf 4 was an experiment place we know that via the books, the fnaf 4 gameplay with the nightmares was an experiment on kids' fear responses and whatnot. I have too many thoughts on this specific info I'm not gonna jumble this post.)

SOTM Spoilers + Thoughts
In short I think its better then Ruin when it comes to design, characters, and story (somewhat)
Speaking of story, I came into the game with fear that it was gonna confirm Tales-Games (Which they lucky didn’t except for introducing characters, which is fine. The Sliver Eyes trilogy did that for Henry & Charlie)
The reason why I don’t like the whole “Book Events=Games canon” for Fnaf is because how disconnected, surreal, vague the stories events can be (Exp: Frailty, Under Construction, B7s, and Stitch epilogues)
Which made it hard for non-readers to understand what the hell was happening because these books did so much stuff. At least for me.
It also didn’t help that these books introduced a lot of new characters instead of using any important characters from the games (like Micheal, Henry, or any of the Missing Children from 85’) but I’ll get back to one of them in second.
But back to SOTM, it looks fun and it doesn’t force it self to 100% serious like in Ruin.
I like the characters designs too, they aren’t ment to look like Fazbear’s Jointed animatronics, their suites with little outfits and I just find them neat. Also wish we hear more of Arnold thoughts on things (but then again he was probably tired)
Also think they added the Murray’s pretty well, Like I genuinely love Fionna (I don’t much in the books other then she wasn’t in the picture)
I like how Edwin was too, he not as standoffish as I thought he was gonna be, He sounds like a nice man who genuinely cares for everything he built & Fionna.
And David is David👍
(All I know he dies when 3 & was chill with the Mimic)
Speaking of which I like how now theres 2 mimics
From my understanding of the ending (Ai Fionna is part of the… I think 2nd Mimic and David’s Mimic is the one we see in ruin)
Idk the endings kinda confuses me, but hey I think they were fun.
Now my personal nick picks is how Henry is used (Spoilers he’s like mentioned twice in two separate mail letters) and my worries for future games and how they write for past important characters.
So SOTM confirms that Edwin made Mediocre Melodies, Roxy, Monty, Foxy, and Moon
While Fionna Designed (PW) Chica, which THANK YOU STEEL WOOL FOR MENTIONING “Chica’s Party world.”
But an another thing the game confirms that Edwin made the Springlocks and built the prototypes of Fredbear & SpringBonnie. Sooo~ What the hell is Game Henry doing??? And Why didn’t Scott just used Henry instead bring a new character with a semi-similar backstory???
Because Henry & his family are such under utilized characters in Fnaf, Especially with how interesting their storylines can be.
Like I argue that Henry should play a more important role then just “William’s business partner & Puppet’s dad” cause he was so much more than that in the Sliver Eyes and parts in Pizza Sim, he’s a morally grey (and I mean GREY) man, who was often focused with his projects (Fazbear’s, Bot Charlie, and Killing William) that he fails to see other people, and he’s doesn’t think twice for people like his employees or Micheal. Not because he enjoys hurting them, it’s because they get in the way in his projects.
While the people he is close (including William somewhat) He goes have guilt, he regrets not saving Charlie, he regrets not see his still living family, and he regrets ever letting William hurt his family and other family children. But, he still does questionable things to fix his mistakes. And I find that unique about him. But instead Scott add a new character that really just complicates the story of the games and makes other important characters just kind of useless in away. If that makes sense.
Overall it’s good I’m just worried for what gonna happen with Henry. (If they ever use him for anything…)
But at least they know he exists

This doesn't magically fix how I feel about SteelWoolStudios, however. I do appreciate what they did in the lore in regards to the Glamrocks.
Spoilers for Secret Of The Mimic.
Throughout the game you will find various references to earlier versions of Roxy and Monty. With the latter even having a predecessor in the form of Jugband Monty, and latter on you find a Springlock suit of Monty that likely would have been used in one of the original locations. If not for Edwin being screwed over.
I do appreciate that we were technically given two more variations of this character. One of which helps tie them into classic FNAF much more. As that design wouldn't look out of place in FNAF 1.
While also having the retro modern design that characters like Chica, and Jackie have. Where it doesn't look like classic FNAF, but reads more like how animatronics were actually designed in real life during that time.
I like that they've managed to incorporate Monty and Roxy into the old lore. In a way that is technically "They were there all along just out of sight" but also still being cleverly included.
I'm really hoping this is a sign they plan on giving Monty more to do.
While I am still boycotting SteelWool.
That isn't a stance I'm stuck on, I'm willing to change my mind and support the company again.
I'm gonna sound difficult.
Yes, I want Monty to be given more spotlight - but not the expense of other characters. Just more "fair"
Like if SteelWool made Monty an unlikely ally to Cassie in a sequel to Ruin. (We'll say he's an AI character like Helpi), but Roxy was still the main focus. I would be fine, and appreciate it.
However if they killed off Roxy at the very start, and basically had Monty replace her. I wouldn't appreciate it, and I would actually continue to Boycott.
To me doing that. How I felt about HW2. Having my hopes up about seeing Monty. Only to have next to nothing. I don't want to put that on fans of other characters.
The main reason I've boycotted Steelwool is because of how they've made me feel as a Monty fan. Especially with HW2.
While there were fans that were assholes about the situation. There were plenty that even if they didn't agree. They were empathetic to the situation.
I don't want any of those fans to get screwed over so that Monty fans can be given a bone. If that makes sense.

okay guys you know what time it is
Spoilers for Secret of the Mimic - specifically the Recording Tapes
So i've seen this going around, and i thought i should give my opinion to it too
Yes; William screwed over Edwin and Yes he took basically everything from him
BUT Henry also had to be somewhat okay with this.
I think as a fandom, we sort of put Henry on a pedastal that he is the good compared to William's evil, but this really just isn't the case. He has all the same downfalls as Edwin tbh (drowning in work and trying to find a 'solution' to being a single parent by making a machine to look after your child. yeah mhm.)
Henry, being potentially one of the ceos or a high up in the company (if we go under the assumption that William is also a CEO (which Dawko suggested and i like a lot)), he would have had to okay'd a lot of the stuff going on, such as hiring people from MCM and giving them raises if they encouraged others to leave too.
ESPECIALLY if William took TWO of Edwin's designs (presuming he made Foxy himself and the information that Fiona made Chica's original first design), AND the entire design for the Pizzeria they were making. If Henry didn't agree with any of it, they would have never made the pizzeria. He had to agree with William for this.
(like yeah sure he could be uncomfortable or unhappy with it, but he STILL AGREED no matter what)
also I think i should say this here;
William and Henry made Freddy and Bonnie. Those two are theirs. Edwin was either not involved in their updated designs (from spring/golden to their standard designs) or he was only shown the idea of what they could be so he could build them. William/Faz Ent took Foxy and either earned the rights to Chica or later took her as part of their generally sweep of Edwin's property, or because... they wanted Chica idk.
Faz Ent took AT LEAST:
Edwin's designs for Foxy/Fiona's designs for Chica
Everything they commissioned from MCM (the pizzeria)
Edwin's version of the Springlocks, but whether they were used or not remains a mystery (< i think William got trapped in the original Spring Bonnie suit, and then there was a second that had the 'improved' springlocks aka the one we see in SOTM)
i say 'used or not' because the springlocks were pretty swiftly discontinued, so i dont really know if the new version would have been properly implimented or not (i think... probably they would have? and then one single failure caused them to be discontinued asap)
unfinished designs for future animatronics (theres a computer that has a file for the puppet design, and later taking and reusing Roxy and Monty in the Pizzaplex)
anyway awesome game i liked it a lot one of the best fnaf games in recent years tied with Into the Pit. i dunno if its my new favourite? but i like Edwin,,, and Fiona,,,,,,
#you guys do not want to hear my opinions on the state of robot children after this game btw#its soooo crazy#but like i mean i guesss i could share... i just gotta think abouts it a litttttle bit lol#five nights at freddys#secret of the mimic#fnaf secret of the mimic

If Andrew was Spring Bonnie, that would be super narratively satisfying imo
Like, it would explain why Cassidy is so attached to his character. She's literally the Freddy to his Bonnie. Not to mention how Andrew's connections to alligators seem relevant to Monty and Freddy's relationship. Freddy sees him as a friend while Monty sees Freddy as an obstacle. Apply that to Andrew and Cassidy, and then you'll get an explanation for a lot of both of their behaviors. Hell, if they were both springlocked like some theories say, then it just makes the parallels between them make even more sense. Not to mention how Cassidy is shown to be kind and actively trying to free the spirits while Andrew is so focused on revenge that he actively keeps the children stuck just to torture Afton.
They're literally opposites in every way, but they're so interconnected that Cassidy wouldn't move on without Andrew, at least not until OMC told her to. The fact that Golden Freddy is shown to be shaking, refusing to die, tells me that Cassidy isn't stopping without trying.
Not to mention how the first game that actively depicted Andrew without any other red hearings is Into The Pit, the game where a monster that looks like Afton but very clearly is not, is the main antagonist.
Andrew is simultaneously the opposite of Cassidy but also the MCI version of William. He's not only torturing William in UCN, but the other children are stuck just the same. Stuck in between afterlife and purgatory, just like Afton has been doing to them for almost 60 years. Keeping them all stuck in a prison of never-ending hunting for the man behind the slaughter, even though they might have been able to move on ages ago if it wasn't for Andrew.
Andrew isn't a bad person. He's an angry child whose final moments were hell on earth. He was locked in the backroom for years on years without the others for comfort. The reason he's so separated from the others is because he literally was separated. He wasn't turned into remnant. He wasn't refurbished. He wasn't fused into Ennard in order to free roam the world once more. He was left with the cruel man who barely passed being human before he even died. He was left with his killer alone, and once he was finally freed from the backroom, he even wasn't in control of his new body. It was William yet again, taking his only chance at happiness, or at least contentment for his physical form. It only got worse once William started taking parts from the other animatronics for Scraptrap's body. He wasn't even alone in his torture anymore. He had everything taken from him since the beginning, and I don't think William even remembered he killed him. William thought he was in control, and he was, until he was hurt. Andrew wanted William to feel the pain he's felt for years, stuck in a hell hole while the others were able to walk into heaven.
I haven't read Fazbear’s Frights btw, I just think there's enough evidence for Andrew through other mediums that denying his existence is futile atp. Not to mention how him being Spring Bonnie just really fits his role as the forgotten one that was always there. That one that even the other MCI didn't know about until the end. I have evidence for Spring Bonnie possessed by a kid too btw I just didn't feel like sharing it here lmao.
